It all started
with a café cart.
Before the loaves, the markets, and the mix, there was a mobile café in sunny Miami—and an idea for something sweet that felt like home.
A small cart.
A big little idea.
DeAnthony Williams started by selling coffee, smoothies, and baked goods from a food cart in Miami, Florida. He felt the café needed something: something sweet but light, easy to enjoy on the go, and comforting enough to make you feel at home.
That’s where the banana bread journey began. The goal was an “all-day bread”—a slice with coffee in the morning, an afternoon snack, or dessert with a scoop of ice cream at night.
The rules were simple: make it good, keep it simple, and make the whole experience cool.
— DeAnthony Williams, founder
A loaf that fits your day, instead of waiting for a special occasion.
The bread started
stealing the show.
As banana bread became the standout at the café cart, DeAnthony shifted his focus to making the best banana bread he could. The mobile café had sparked something bigger: The Banana Bread Company.
Local farmers markets came next, followed by select hotels and private venues. Legion Park became our market home—a place to share loaves, meet neighbors, and keep learning from the people who came back for more.
Growing, one
good loaf at a time.
Bringing our bread to more people has always been the goal. Today, that journey includes new flavors, bread mix for your kitchen, community connections, and conversations with stores that could carry us next.
But growing only works if the bread stays at its best. As DeAnthony put it: “We can’t do too much, too fast. That’s exactly how you trip over your own feet.”
This page is where we’ll keep taking you along: the milestones, the experiments, the market mornings, and the good people we meet as we bake forward.
A little reading.
A little loaf inspiration.
One loaf,
three moments.
Morning: a warm slice and your favorite coffee. Afternoon: a little break between the busy parts. Evening: banana bread with a scoop of ice cream. No wrong time. Just your time.
Why we love
Saturday mornings.
Familiar faces. Neighbors discovering something new. A conversation over coffee. Farmers markets remind us that a small business is made of people—and we’re glad you’re some of ours.
The next chapter
comes in a bag.
Fresh loaves are where we started. Mix is where we’re heading next. We’re testing and refining, with one goal: a baking experience you’ll want to make again.
Kitchen clips. Market mornings.
The fun stuff in between.
Our video corner is coming soon. Expect bakes, flavor experiments, market moments, and a closer look at the journey.
Got a flavor idea or a banana-bread moment worth sharing? We want to hear it.
Team breakfast, snack, or dessert?
Try all three. A classic slice with coffee, a chocolate-chip afternoon snack, or a warm slice with ice cream. This is a judgment-free bread zone.
Your dream flavor gets a vote.
Tell us what you’d put in your perfect loaf. We can’t promise every idea makes the menu, but we love hearing them.

A little bread.
A little local good.
We want our bread to be part of something bigger: small moments of care, connection, and good snacks in our community.

We’re building our local snack-donation initiative and connecting with community organizations, youth programs, and neighborhood events.
